Big Brother VIP, the house risks being empty: "There are no available contestants, or they're asking for too much."

The next edition of Big Brother VIP is seriously at risk of never seeing the light of day, and not just because of TV ratings . The reality show hosted by Alfonso Signorini was not included in the Mediaset schedules this fall, officially revealed last month. Although its broadcast has not been ruled out a priori by Pier Silvio Berlusconi , the possibility that one of the programs that defined an era of television could end, perhaps definitively, is far from remote.

According to journalist Alberto Dandolo , one of the main problems of Big Brother VIP is finding new contestants. Not only that, but the few who are willing to enter the house have reportedly asked for exorbitant fees to participate in the show.

Mediaset 's intention is to feature strong episodes in the fall edition of the reality show in the NIP (half-celebrity, half-unknown) version, hosted by Simona Ventura . The idea is to bring the reality show back to its origins. Even Alfonso Signori , it seems, wouldn't be so opposed to stopping at least for a season.
